Press <esc> to escape from a sale.
It will ask "Put sale on hold yes / no"
Use the cursor keys to highlight 'yes' or 'no' button and press <enter>.
To Abandon a sale
Answer 'no' to the 'on hold?' Question.
To put sale 'on-hold'
Answer 'yes' to the 'on hold?' question.
Common situations where this is used are.
- The staff-member wishes to move the sale to another till so they can use the EFTPOS machine.
- The pharmacist is advising the patient about their medicine and other staff members need to use the till.
When you view 'sales on hold' the list will remain on that screen until you switch it off or do a new sale. This makes it easier to clear out sales on hold at the end of the day.
To Retrieve A Sale On Hold: From the RxOne Point Of Sale main screen, the 'Sale on Hold' is usually in the list of sales done today.
- Highlight the sale, usually by clicking on it with the mouse.
- Press <enter>
