Price, Ask on item

Specify 'ask price' on 'Stock card options'.

If you have a pile of stuff like Toilet Bags you can set the stock card up with ask price and a Cost Markup and Retail. The Markup is the only thing that is important. When you make a sale and put in the price for the individual item, RxOne will calculate the cost price for that individual item back from the retail entered & the markup set on the stock card, It does not alter the price on the stock card, but records the calculated price against the sale. This means that on the sales reports and EOD the GP% etc are correct.

When an 'ask price' item is sold, any retail price on the stock card is ignored and the focus moves to the 'price' box for the price to be entered.

For the purpose of reports the cost of an ask price item is Retail less GST and Markup. So if the stock card has a markup of 50% and the item is sold for $13.50 then the cost will be calculated as $8.00 for any reports

Price won't lookup If an item has a retail price on the stock card, but comes up without the price when sold, check that the 'ask price' box is not ticked.

Price is very large, and wrong?
