Database, 'Can't open' on startup

A message, "Can't open database" could occur during the monthly update (click on this to see cure) or on startup.

 

To fix 'Can't open DB' problem on startup

1. Do a total shutdown of all computers and connected hardware, leave a few seconds, and restart all equipment. If this does not work then;

2. Compact the database. If this fails, or you cannot even get into the 'compact' function to try it, Restore from the latest backup disk.
