Two types of mailing/address label are provided, a simple printing of labels straight from the program, or the specialised 'Mail Merge' function using MS 'Word'.
Address label for script
An address label, without script details & prices (& therefore suitable as a mailing label) can be produced for last patient.
For convenience, this can be done either while waiting for a script or while in the middle of the next patient's script.
Use the <ctrl> + <A> shortcut.
Or: use the menus;
1. From the main dispensing screen select Report (or Report, depending on position in the program) from the menu bar,
2. Then Patient reports
3. Then Address label.
Mailing list labels
A set of address labels for general mailings to many patients, chosen by
- Customer
- Condition
- Drug
- Doctor
- Patient name
- Club member
Enter from the program start up menu,. Reports, Other reports, Mailing labels.
Top doctors
Mailing Labels -Select doctors then 'Doctors with scripts between', select dates to and from. Tick the Top 10 box, window appears and can type in 25 or 13 or whatever. Then OK to bring up a report of top 10 or 25 or 13 doctors with total number of Rxs dispensed in the time selected. Can print report, mailing labels with various options of bolding, italic etc.
Mail merge
Prepare the report then 'export for mail merge' which can be used with external mail merge programs to personalise letters etc. Instructions for doing this with MS 'Word' are provided under 'Reports, External'
