PoS goods price labels can be obtained for any or all items, automatically printed at time of order delivery if required, with barcodes. If unwanted labels are appearing during order delivery, untick the 'label' box in the appropriate stock cards.
To turn labels on/off
Tick or untick the 'labels' box in the 'stock options' frame at the top RHS of the stock card. of the particular item.
Options for Printing Price Labels
From a Stockcard go to the Options Menu, then hover the mouse over 'Price Sticker and Label Options'. A side menu with the following options (with tick boxes) will display.
Print Shelf Label/Sticker automatically when Retail is changed
Print Special Price on Shelf Labels (Special Price will print in place of Retail Price) (add 'Normal retail' field in Shelf Setup to have this print on the shelf labels too)*
Print Special Price on Price Stickers
Print the Word "Special Price" on Price Stickers
Queue all Shelf Labels/Stickers until Stockcards is Closed
To alter the Shelf Label Setup
* From the RxOne Start Menu go to Tools, Printer Setup. Click on 'Shelf Labels', then the 'Advanced' button in the bottom right hand corner. Click on 'Shelf Label Layout'. Under 'Field Details, highlight 'Normal Retail (for Items on Special)' and then click Add on the LHS. To set the position this is to print on the Shelf label, on the RHS under Field Details set the 'mm from Top' and left and the length of the field. As you do this you will see that a rectangular box representing that field will move around the diagram of the label. You can preview and print a test page.
To set 'labels' in bulk
Make a backup. This bulk function uses direct manipulation of the database and so requires exact copying of the syntax below, and the ability to restore from backup if it is not successful.
OTC price label problems and setup are handled in a separate section.
To turn labels OFF in bulk
Warning; Think carefully before doing this. Be certain you want NO PoS labels at all. This would be used only by pharmacies which had the dispensary module only. This function cannot be reversed in bulk, though you can turn on individual items at any time after turning them off in bulk.
From the Windows Start button, select run and type in
\phcypro\dbsql UPDATE Stock SET Labels = False <enter>
(Note there are no spaces in the text \phcypro\dbsql but there are spaces between all the other words and the '=' character.)
To turn ON all labels in bulk
Warning; Think carefuly before doing this. Be certain you want PoS price labels for EVERY item delivered, including dispensary stock. This is only likely to suit those pharmacies with the PoS module only and no dispensary stock on the system

Shelf labels can be printed out in place of price stickers.
To set up 'Shelf labels'
Add a new printer* and call it 'Shelf Label' printer with custom paper size. Set up the dimensions of the shelf labels. Then go to the RxOne Start Menu, Tools, Printer Setup, Shelf labels, Select printer, then Advanced and tick 'Enable Shelf Labels'. If you want to add any extra fields e.g. PLU number on the shelf label, click on Shelf label layout, then add fields.

When this is switched on, shelf labels instead of price stickers will be printed out from stockcards. In orders when there is a price change from the answerback, a new shelf label with the new price will be printed (For items that have 'label' ticked on the stockcards). One shelf label per item will be printed.
To print Bulk PoS labels
Under Tools, Utilities, Stock Utilities, Print All Price/Shelf labels.
