E.g. Claim for wastage when 75ml is dispensed from a 100ml of reconstituted antibiotic and the remaining 25ml is wasted.
Tick the 'wastage' box to force a claim for the whole pack quantity. This sends a wastage flag to 'HealthPAC' advising that payment for a whole pack is required.
Wastage cancelled. If wastage is claimed but then subsequently used for another patient, edit the script and cancel the wastage flag. If this happens after the claim is made up, reclaim the item which will automatically withdraw the item previously claimed and claim again without the wastage.
Antibiotic Wastage
If the ‘claim wastage’ box is ticked in the stockcard (on the Drug Information tab), RxOne will automatically claim the wastage.
