Registration, Program

[Revised Dec 04].

When the installer enters the user's registration details all functions of the program are fully activated. Some of these details cannot be changed without the registration number being recalculated by HealthSoft. Do not change the pharmacy name, the GST number, the Licence or Unit numbers, without asking the help desk for assistance.

To register

From RxOne Start Menu, Tools, Options, User details, and enter details as provided by HealthSoft. Shut down and restart to ensure that it is re-read and finish at least one prescription to see if it is accepted. These settings are individual to each machine so must be entered into all units.

If you have any queries about registration, contact the help-desk.

"This copy not registered." This message, or similar, indicates that the user's registration details have failed to match the registration number. Usually this is because some detail of the User registration page has been changed. Contact the help-desk.

Msg; "Maximum of ... units running on this network..."

The program thinks that more Slaves are running on the network than there are licences for. If this is so obtain a licence for the extra unit, if not so contact the Help Desk for assistance.

To update a Slave's registration from the Master

Go to Tools, Options, User Details on the Master. Click 'Download to Slaves'.

[The following requires some computer knowledge]

Registration problems;

Problem:

Cannot access the program menu

Error message:

"Maximum of <totalUnitsAllowed> Units already running.

There are already <totalUnitsAllowed> units running on this network which is the maximum you are Registered to have. Please contact our Support desk or your local Agent to obtain a new licence for any extra units you require. This program will now End."

Solution:

Check the Registration details:

RxOne Start Menu, Tools, Options, User Details tab

The registration details must be the same on ALL machines. You can copy the User.ini file down the network as this has all the registration details in it.

Problem:

Locked out from using a particular machine.

Cause:

Changed the name of one or more of the RxOne machines.

Or, require new registration but cannot obtain at present

Solution:

Execute the following SQL command

First Exit right out of RxOne on ALL Machines

Click on the Windows Start Button

Select Run

At the Prompt type

[Australia] c:\phcypro\dbsql UPDATE Computer SET DateAccessed = NULL

[NZ] c:\RxOne\dbsql UPDATE Computer SET DateAccessed = NULL

Now start up the program Menu on the Master first.

Now start up the next slave in order of importance.

You can only run as many as have been purchased.
