Pricing of Hypnotic repeats

Hypnotics are only subsidised for the first 30 days, then are NSS.

Human understanding is needed to reliably parse the meaning of patient instructions and work out 30 days, due to complexities such as "Take one every second night" or "Take one at night except on weekends" ... (a computer does not know about weekends).

Future In a future version, RxOne will ask the operator on Hypnotic repeats whether it is to be "Priced as SS? (y/n)".

Stat Hypnotics

E.g. those where 90 days are to be supplied at once. The first 30 day quantity will be SS, the last 60 day quantity NSS. At time of writing (May 1997) there is no mechanism to automatically handle this so enter the script initially as 60, it will calculate the price of 60 so take note of the 'NSS price' or 'OTC price' in the 'Price panel' (whichever you think appropriate to charge the patient), then change the quantity to 90, overwrite the 'Patient price' with the price you want to charge.

Future In a future version, RxOne will detect that 90 is an invalid SS quantity, and ask how you want the remaining 60 handled.
